A Bit About Us

We are Haley and Theo - the dynamic duo behind Serving Joy. Our law enforcement and veteran-owned business was founded on the simple idea that a cup of coffee and good company can bring joy to anyone's day. We first met at summer camp as 13 year olds, and while Theo may have broken Haley's heart, we found our way back to each other in 2020 and started Serving Joy soon after.

This is the summer that Haley and Theo met. There was instant connection but Theo decided to break Haley's heart and break up with her as a dumb 13 year old boy does.

Haley and Theo reconnect through old phone numbers that persisted over the years.

Haley and Theo move back to Iowa to the Des Moines metro and get engaged and then married the following year.

Serving Joy is established inside of Dwell Boutique and the trailer conversion begins!
